Who am I?
Based out of the twin cities of Minneapolis and Saint Paul, Minnesota, I've performed the Dangerous Fun Show at festivals, fairs, and parties across the Midwest since 2007. During this hands-on show you'll explore the connections between modern circus sideshow acts and ancient trickster shamans.
What is the Dangerous Fun Show?
The Dangerous Fun Show weaves the story of ancient healers with modern sideshow stunts and humor while inspiring an audience to move beyond fear to a state of mind where anything is possible. Featuring acts of real danger and excitement presented with a focus on humor and fun, the Dangerous Fun Show is ideal for audiences of all ages.
What inspired the Dangerous Fun Show?
In ancient times, Shamans put their bodies through potentially harmful experiences, eating fire, swallowing swords, or lying on a bed of nails, thus proving their physical power. They explored the connection between their bodies and their minds, using what we now call hypnosis. Finally they lead the tribe through rituals of healing, full of amazement and humor, and helped the tribespeople escape from their illness or problem.
This all sounds very Dangerous. What about Safety?
I take great care ensuring that everyone taking part of the show, whether myself or an audience member, remains safe. The Dangerous Fun Show is also fully insured and I can provide a certificate of coverage upon request. I am a proud member of the North American Fire Arts Association and take all appropriate safety measures.
This all sounds great but what if I'm only interested in a stunt show or hypnosis show?
No problem! Over the years I've developed many versions of the Dangerous Fun Show, from stilt walking to a street-style escape show, one-off sideshow stunts for special events, or even a full evening hypnosis show. I cater the show to your needs and give your audience an experience they will never forget.
